Gliding Dolphin
Confusion of a Dolphin
Artist Statement (Dolphin): This crystal dolphin was a gift given to my mom for her birthday. Years in the past, we had struggled on what to get my mom for birthdays and christmas. But, on day, we passed by Swarovski in the mall and saw all of these beautiful crystals and decided to get her one. Since then, it has been a tradition to give her a crystal from Swarovski for her birthday/Christmas. All of them are now put in a see through cabinet in the dining room. This dolphin is one that I picked out for her so it means a lot to me.
Excited Elephant
The Lost Elephant
Artist Statement (Elephant): This elephant crystal was given to my mom for Christmas. It was one of the very first ones we gave to her. Right when we went in the store that year, we all agreed on getting her this one. That shows how well liked this crystal was, because we normally argued over which one to give to my mom for a while. This one is my favorite. The reason I like it so much is because the elephants trunk is very interesting and the light reflects off of it in an interesting way.
Christmas Dog
Santa's Dog
Artist Statement (Dog): I love this dog because it really gives off great christmas vibes. The dog looks very ready for Christmas, which gets me ready for Christmas. Also, when I go to look at all the crystals in the cabinet at my house, this one catches my eye because of the vibrant color that it shows. When we got it for my mom, she thought it was very cute. I also remember getting this one, because we all disagreed on which crystal to get my mom but finally decided on the dog.
Birds of a Feather
Bird Group
Artist Statement (Birds): The birds are the most interesting chrystal we have gotten my mom in my opinion. They have very interesting orange and yellow beaks, which are very cool. I also love this crystal because my mom says it is her favorite one she has ever gotten. They also look very unified, which I think of as the unity of our family. Overall, the birds give off a very happy and positive feeling.
Jolly Snowman
Lost in a Blizzard
Artist Statement (Snowman): I had many struggles when taking a picture of snowman. It was very to get all of the background noise out of the Snowman, because the light from a window kept reflecting off of his hat. I ended up having to put a book behind me to make sure that you could not see the window in the background. Eventually, I was able to get five quality pictures of the snowman without any distracting light reflecting off of him. The snowman took the most work to photograph so it felt great when I finally was able to get the five quality pictues I needed.
